The living room area offers wall-to-wall mirrors behind that not only reflect the magnificent views of the ocean, but also reinforce the already spacious dimensions of the room. A desk with a phone & answering machine can comfortably accommodate the needs of the business traveler. The glass windows & plantation shutters can be pushed open to either side to create a breathtaking unobstructed 18 foot opening to the sights & sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Guests can linger for hours watching the ever-changing scenes of sailboats & surfers. Our guests find that this arrangement provides the best of both worlds combining the openness of a balcony with the comfort & protection of an interior space. This is truly what makes the apartments in the Colony Surf so special! The Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, flatware, coffeemaker, toaster, & utensils suitable for entertaining. It has white cabinets & granite countertops, as does the bathroom. The Colony Surf provides many amenities to its guests, including direct access to the finest white sand beach in the area, fine dining at the romantic Michel's Restaurant located on the building's beach level, secured entry with 24 hour security & an elegant lobby tastefully decorated with travertine marble floors, white marble walls, traditional furniture, sweeping curved staircase, & fresh tropical flower arrangements.
